Safety is never a paid tier
Every security feature ships in every plan, because selling protection by the tier means deliberately making the cheap plan less safe. So does every client: the browser extension, the mobile apps, and the web console are included in both. Plans differ only in how they are counted.
Which one? Team if you are 3 to 5 people. Business for everything else.
Team
$8 /month, one flat price
For small teams that want zero per-person maths while the habit forms.
- Up to 5 people
- Unlimited vaults and entries
- Sharing, rotation, recovery, audit: all included
- Browser extension, iPhone and Android apps, web console
- Or $86.40/year, save 10%
Business
$3 /person/month
For organisations of any size. Billed for real people, not bundles of seats.
- Unlimited people
- Joiners prorated from the day they accept
- Leavers credited on the next invoice
- Browser extension, iPhone and Android apps, web console
- Or $32.40/person/year, save 10%
Prices in USD. Payment is processed by Stripe; card details never touch Keyvaci's servers.
Roughly a quarter of what the incumbent vaults charge, with nothing security-relevant removed to get there.
The lifecycle, in writing
What happens at every stage
| Stage | What you can do | What we promise |
|---|---|---|
| Trial · 14 days | Everything. Every feature, up to 10 people | No card collected, no auto-charge possible |
| Active subscription | Everything | Invoices count active seats only, prorated |
| Payment fails | Everything, for a 7-day grace period | An expired card is admin trouble, not a work stoppage |
| Trial or subscription ends | Read, reveal, export, recover forgotten passwords | Read-only is a promise, not a punishment. Your data is never held hostage |
| Long-term non-payment | Read and export, then account suspension with warnings | A published schedule with weeks of notice before anything is ever removed |
Pricing questions
Fair-print, not fine-print
Does the free trial need a credit card?
No. The 14-day trial has every feature and room for up to 10 people, and collects no payment method. When it ends without a purchase, the organisation simply goes read-only; nothing is charged because we have nothing to charge.
What happens if we stop paying?
Read-only. Your team can still sign in, read, copy, and export everything, and administrators can still recover forgotten master passwords. Write access returns the moment payment does. Deleting customer data over a lapsed card is a trust-ending move for a product like this, so the design rules it out.
Why is there no feature difference between plans?
Because every feature in Keyvaci is a security feature, and tiered security means the cheaper plan is deliberately less safe. The clients count as features here too: charging extra for the browser extension or the mobile app would price people out of the very tools that stop them pasting passwords into chat. If we ever add an Enterprise tier, it will differ in operational conveniences (SCIM provisioning, SIEM export, SLA commitments), never in protection.
How are seats counted, exactly?
A seat is an active member or an open invitation. Invite someone mid-cycle and Stripe prorates from the day they accept. Remove someone and the next invoice reflects it. You never pre-buy seat packs or pay for empty chairs.
Team is full at 5 people. What now?
Upgrade to Business in the app; the switch is prorated automatically. Your vaults, members, and keys are untouched; only the billing arithmetic changes.
Can we pay by invoice and bank transfer?
Yes. Write to us through the contact form or at keyvaci@xnorgroup.com with your organisation ID and the plan you want, and we issue an invoice for direct bank transfer. The subscription is activated once the payment is confirmed, and renewal reminders arrive by email before each due date.
